MISAMIS ORIENTAL – Provincial Board Member Gerardo “Boboy” Sabal during the regular 32nd flag raising ceremony presented to Governor Peter “Sr. Perdo” M. Unabia the new codified ordinances and resolutions of the province.

In his speech, Sabal said the 50-volume codified ordinances and resolutions will be formally turned over to the governor by himself and Vice Governor Jeremy Jonahmar “Jigjag” G. Pelaez. “Gov, this morning we are very proud to present to you this 50 volume of the codified ordinances and resolutions.”

Sabal said the Sangguniang Panlalawigan through the leadership of VG Pelaez has undertaken a very challenging task which is to codify ordinances and resolutions.

He said the last coding of the province’s ordinances and resolutions was done 20 years ago.

ONE GOAL

Board member Sabal added that the Sangguniang Panlalawigan should align with the plans and programs of the Provincial Governor, to be able to reach its goal of alleviating the status of poor people in the communities.

He said that the legislative and the executive department should be in one direction to achieve continued progress of the province that will also benefit its people.
