THE Rotary International District 3870 spearheaded by District Governor-Elect Gilda “Gigi” Go held a district team training seminar recently at Grand Caprice Convention Center in Cagayan de Oro City.
“To all the incoming district officers who traveled from afar to attend the district team training seminar, daghan kaayong salamat. I am excited and looking forward to an exciting new Rotary Year ahead where we, all together, strive to create and bring hope to the world starting from where we are – within our families, then our very own communities, then ultimately, the world,” Go said.
“Let us always remember that by simple things are great things brought to pass.”
Go thanked incoming district trainer PDG Fe “Bing” Juarez and district team training seminar chairman Luzmar Gabor for managing the event and to the special guest of honor Governor Angelo Ladub.
Go’s home club is the Rotary Club of Kalayaan Cagayan de Oro. Rotary International District 3870 is composed of 44 clubs from Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao, Camiguin and Cagayan de Oro City.
