RHRDC XI Opens Call for Health R&D Proposals With Up to 1M Funding Support

The Regional Health Research and Development Consortium XI (RHRDC XI) opens the call for Health Research and Development proposals from researchers and faculty of RHRDC XI member institutions with up to 1 million pesos in funding support for the calendar year 2023.

The proposals must be based on the priority areas indicated in the 2017-2022 Regional Unified Health Research Agenda (RUHRA) of Davao Region and must be feasible for implementation in 6 months to 1 year. The submitted proposals will be evaluated and funded by the DOST-Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD).

RHRDC XI Regional Coordinator and the Department of Science and Technology XI Director, Dr. Anthony Sales encouraged researchers to respond to the call for proposal because research plays an important role in improving healthcare in the country.

“Your continued support, participation and conduct of various medical research will help strengthen the foundation of healthcare that was built on various medical researches,” he added.

In 2022, RHRDC XI funded various health research on antibiotic resistance, antibacterial and anticancer properties of plants, and natural bio preservatives.
