CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Police investigators are still “facing a blank wall” as to the motive of killing the four unidentified victims found dead Sunday morning in a town in Misamis Oriental.

Police found the bodies of four persons, including a minor, on the road in Purok 9, Barangay Imelda, Villanueva town in Misamis Oriental early Sunday.

According to the police, the victims were all males who were all shot to death.

The three bodies were believed to be between ages 20 to 35 years old, while the minor’s age is yet to be determined.

Police said all the victims sustained gunshot wounds to the head and body resulting to their untimely death.

The victims’ bodies were found at around 4:00 in the morning on Sunday, July 10.

According to a witness, a member of Villanueva’s task force, he was driving his motorcycle going home at Sitio Loking in Barangay Dayawan, of the same town, when he saw one of the victims lying on the cemented road.

Police said the witness turned around to ask for help and when he came back, he saw the other three bodies.

Police added the victims’ hands were tied with tie wire, their mouths covered with duct tape.

Investigators also recovered five .45 caliber 39mm fired cartridges on the crime scene.

Police are still investigating the identities of both victims and perpetrators.
