SECURITY FORCES OF PRO BAR OPERATIVES successfully arrested 10 personalities involved in a shooting incident in Cotabato City . Top Officials said.
Police reports said the arrest of these personalities involved in an ensued firefight during an ongoing negotiation between the families of Datu Jham Sinsuat and Datu Lester Sinsuat in their compound at Rosales St. Rosary St. Rosary Heights 6, on January 2, 2024.
It was further reported that around 2:00 in the afternoon that resulted in the death of PSSg Zahraman PRO BAR operatives successfully arrested personalities involved in an ensued firefight during an ongoing negotiation between the families of Datu Jham Sinsuat and Datu Lester Sinsuat in their compound at Rosales St., Rosary Heights 6, Cotabato City, on January 2, 2024 around 2:00 in the afternoon that resulted in the death of PSSg Zahraman Mustapha Dicolano, a PNP member assigned at PMFC, Maguindanao Del Norte PPO.
Acting upon the said incident, Police Station 2 CCPO personnel arrested 4 personalities involved in the firefight and flagged down a speeding white Toyota Fortuner with plate number UH 992 that came from the crime scene. Upon verification, assorted firearms were found inside the subject vehicle: One unit M16 rifle (A1 Elisco 5.56mm with scope and bearing serial number RP126913; One unit M16 rifle (A1 COLT 5.56mm) with scope having a tampered serial number; CZ SCORPION EVO 3 S1 caliber 9mm pistol with three magazines loaded with 10 live ammunition; One unit R4 REMINGTON rifle; One unit TAURUS Caliber 45 pistol with two magazines loaded with 15 live ammunition; One unit Rock Island Caliber 45 pistol with two magazines loaded with 20 live ammunition; One unit NORINCO Caliber 45 pistol with one magazine loaded with 10 live ammunition; One unit COLT Caliber 45 pistol (M1911) without serial number; One unit STI CALIBER 45 pistol (Limcat Custom) with one magazine loaded with eight live ammunition; One unit GLOCK Caliber 40 pistol (Generation 22) with two magazines loaded with 18 live ammunition; One unit R4 Remington 5.56mm rifle without serial number with 10 magazines loaded with 27 live ammunition; and A white Toyota Fortuner with plate number UH 992.
Further, at around 7:00 PM of the same date, a follow up operation was conducted by the PNP at Rosales St., Rosary Heights 6, Cotabato City. This resulted in the clearing of 4 houses and the arrest of 6 personalities who were all positively identified by the witness.
Also recovered from one of the houses were two fired cartridge cases believed to be from a cal 7.62mm type of firearm and a cartridge case believed to be from a cal 9mm type of firearm.
The 10 arrested personalities had already undergone paraffin test and appropriate charges are being prepared against them, while the confiscated items will be subjected to proper examinations.
The Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO BAR) assures that the PNP will be swift in solving this case and resolved in pursuing all involved parties in this incident
