CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Drug enforcer agents seized illegal drugs worth P1.360 million during a buy-bust operation in Lanao del Norte on June 12, 2025, a regional police report said Wednesday, June 14, 2025.
Considered as a “high value individual,” the suspect, a 39 year-old female is known as “Bukil,” of Brgy. Mamaanon, Salvador, Lanao del Norte.
In his report to the regional police command here, Lt. Col. Roy Magsalay, Police Provincial Director of Lanao Del Norte, said that an intelligence agent acting as a poseur carried out the buy~bust in Purok Manga, Pinuyak, Lala, Lanao del Norte, resulting to the arrest of the suspect.
Seized from the suspect was a 210-gram Metampethamine Hydrochloride known as “Shabu” is more or less with an estimated street value of Php1,361 million.
Also seized were: One cellular phone, Wallet containing various identification cards, and the Philippine peso bills used in the buy bust operation.
Police said the suspect is now detained in Tubod, Lanao del Norte as appropriate charges with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 is readied against the suspect.
