Well, at any corner we do find and read 2024 wish lists now. I have one too – of course.
1. Let’s not strike back, if someone is rude, if someone is impatient, if someone is unkind, Let’s not respond in a like manner.
2. Let’s be careful about what we say (and write!). Let’s carefully choose our words. Gossip is out!
3. Let’s go the extra-mile. Let’s find ways to help share the burdens of others.
4. Let’s do something nice for someone – but secretly. You can reach out anonymously and bless the life of others.
5. Let’s treat others the way I wish to be treated. Do you remember the golden rule: “Do unto others as I would have them do unto me!”?
6. Let’s raise the spirit of someone disheartened. Our smile, our words, our expression of support – yes, everything can make the difference to someone who is wrestling with life.
7. Let’s nurture our bodies and let’s eat less and only healthy foods.
8. Let’s grow spiritually and spend a little more time in prayer.
9. Let’s begin reading something spiritual or inspirational.
10. Let’s find a quiet place, listen to God’s voice and pray for peace. The bestial behavior of many human-beings scare me.
