MANILA, Philippines – The International Criminal Court (ICC) has officially turned over 181 pieces of evidence to the defense team of former President Rodrigo Duterte, who is facing charges of murder as a crime against humanity.
According to an ICC document released Tuesday, the evidence—which served as the basis for Duterte’s arrest warrant—was shared with his defense team on March 21.
This development marks a critical phase in the proceedings, allowing Duterte’s legal team to review the allegations and prepare their defense against the charges.
