NAAWAN, Misamis Oriental – Mediaman-turned politician Erwin Tulfo and top officials of the province graced the opening and inauguration of the grandest and biggest municipal hall of the province, the Naawan Municipal Hall, on February 8, 2024.

PLANNING OF THE NEW TOWN HALL
Mayor Roa said the old town hall was constructed in the early 1960s and its floor area was only about 300 square meters located under the 5000 square meter lot of the government.
But now, the floor area was already 3000 square meters, ten times bigger than the old municipal building. Ang atong bag ong munisipyo nia nakatukod sa 6 hectare land.”

Mayor Roa and his Sangguniang Bayan members decided to have a loan with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) to the tune of P180 Million three years ago.
The construction took them several years to finish. “Right now we are inaugurating this new municipal hall, which is ten times bigger than the old one.
This will not be possible today without the help of the Sangguniang Bayan members, and to all the people involved in approving the loan,” the mayor said.
