The destruction of 37 tons of expired imported meat products seized in a cold storage facility in Meycauan, Bulacan has commenced. According to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Central Luzon Regional Office, the seized products are valued at approximately PHP 600 million.
The operation was carried out after the cold storage facility was raided on Wednesday. The destruction of the expired products is part of enforcing the law to ensure public safety.
