YASSI PRESSMAN JOINS AP PARTYLIST IN BOHOL FOR TYPHOON ODETTE RELIEF

When Typhoon Odette hit Bohol back in mid-December, AP Partylist first nominee Rep. Ronnie Ong immediately brought in more than ten thousand boxes of distilled bottled water as well as thousands of kilos of rice, food packs and loaves of bread to distribute to different areas in Bohol. With various towns still recovering from the aftermath of Typhoon Odette, AP Partylist is back with their friend and supporter, actress Yassi Pressman to donate portable water filters, thousand crates of bread and to conduct feeding programs across different towns in Bohol.

Ronnie Ong of AP Partylist said. Their first stop was at Talibon, Bohol, where they donated portable water filters for all of Talibon’s barangays and conducted a feeding program for more than 500 residents. Beneficiaries were evacuated residents of Brgy. Poblacion as well as residents of Brgy. San Agustin. The crowd shouted in surprise and joy when Yassi Pressman entered the center waving to the beneficiaries.

Patuloy po tayong maghahatid ng tulong sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa,” Yassi Pressman said in her message to the Bol-anons.

From Talibon, they went straight to Pilar, Bohol where they visited Barangay Poblacion and Barangay Rizal to distribute thousand kilos of rice and conduct another feeding program for the residents there. Next stop was in Sevilla, Bohol, where the AP Team brought food and bread packs to senior citizens and residents whose homes were submerged during typhoon Odette, and another feeding program was conducted for evacuees. AP Partylist Rep. Ronnie Ong and Yassi Pressman ended their visit at Balilihan, Bohol with yet another feeding program to more than five hundred (500) displaced residents and donating another ton of rice to them.

AP Partylist Rep.

Yassi Pressman added.
The actress and partylist-representative also visited Dao Public Market the next day to buy different seafood and vegetables from the market, surprising the vendors and market-goers alike with their “palengke day,” as posted on Yassi Pressman’s social media account. ###
