CAMP EVANGELISTA, Cagayan de Oro City – The 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division honors its military personnel who are battle and non-battle casualties through a Gift giving activity held at the Camp Evangelista Station Hospital (CESH) on Thursday, December 14, 2023.
4ID Commander Major General Jose Maria R. Cuerpo II together with other 4ID officers and staff handed over in-kind and cash gifts to five (5) personnel currently admitted at CESH.
Recognizing their heroism and bravery, said initiative aimed to uplift the spirits of Diamond troopers and spread the joy of the Christmas season.
In his message, Maj. Gen. Cuerpo II stated this event displayed the 4ID’s commitment to nurture the well-being of its troops and ensure that they feel valued and remembered especially during this yuletide season.
“Our troops are the epitome of courage and sacrifice. Their sacrifices in the line of duty are truly noble and deserved to be honored. In this Christmas season, it is our duty to make them feel appreciated and supported as our most important resources, their welfare must always come first,” he added.
