Davao City, Philippines – June 29, 2026 – Transcycle (Gentrade International Phils., Inc.) is redefining what it means to be a motorcycle dealership by expanding its role beyond selling motorcycles to becoming a trusted government partner that helps make public services more accessible while promoting safer and more responsible mobility for Filipino communities.

This vision took a significant step forward as Transcycle and the Land Transportation Office Region XI (LTO XI) officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), making Transcycle the first accredited motorcycle dealership partner of the LTO XI PASADA Project (Promoting Accessible and Sustainable Assistance for Drivers Advancement).

The MOA Signing Ceremony was held at the LTO Region XI Sky Gym in Davao City and was attended by LTO Region XI officials led by Regional Director Atty. Ernesto Raphael V. Robillo, together with OIC Assistant Regional Director Joel Mandaya, Administrative Division Chief Malou Narca, CPA, division chiefs, district heads, and other key officials. Under the partnership, LTO XI and Transcycle will conduct outreach initiatives and service caravans that bring government services directly to communities. These include FREE Theoretical Driving Courses (TDC), Student Permit Issuance, Driver’s License Renewal, and Motor Vehicle Registration Renewal, making essential transportation services more convenient and accessible for Filipino motorists.

During the ceremony, LTO Region XI Regional Director Atty. Ernesto Raphael V. Robillo emphasized that the partnership goes beyond the signing of an agreement and reflects a shared commitment to protecting lives through responsible motoring.

“Road safety is not an accident; it is a commitment.”

He stressed that the collaboration aims to cultivate disciplined drivers, promote legal compliance, and ensure that every Filipino family can confidently expect their loved ones to return home safely after every journey.

Echoing the same commitment, Matthew Siy Cha, Chief Executive Officer of Transcycle, underscored the company’s vision of promoting sustainable growth alongside road safety.

“It is easy to sell motorcycles. The real challenge is selling motorcycles sustainably, with the safety of our customers always in mind. Through our partnership with the Land Transportation Office under the PASADA Project, we are committed to meeting that challenge by promoting road safety, legal compliance, and responsible motoring, while bringing safety education closer to the communities we serve,” said Siy Cha.

He added that the partnership represents more than a business milestone, it is a commitment to helping build safer communities by making government services and road safety education more accessible to every Filipino rider.
