This was the bold statement of Vice President Sara Duterte after expressing gratitude to the supporters of her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte. Despite her father’s detention at the International Criminal Court (ICC) facility in The Hague, Netherlands, Duterte loyalists remain steadfast in their support.
Currently, Duterte is set to stand trial in relation to his administration’s “war on drugs”. The confirmation of charges is scheduled for September 23, 2025. Meanwhile, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has issued a warning to former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque regarding his call for the public to stage an uprising.
