MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)–The Marawi Compensation Board (MCB) has once again been assured of the strong support of the Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM).
Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Assistant Secretary in-charge for TFBM Melissa Aradanas explained that the board was created by a specific law, thus, garnering a separate directive.
But this group still carries out a task that is not different from the TFBM’s goals. As such, Aradanas stated that they closely collaborate with the board.
She conveyed that they are willing to share the data they have and are eager to have more meetings with the board chief and members.
“Marami pa kaming coordination meeting para ma-brief namin sila on what (we still have a lot of coordination meetings so that we can brief them) TFBM has been doing prior. We are 100% in support para magawa nila ang kanilang mandato (so that they can do their mandate),” said. Aradanas.
To show their support, the TFBM handed over laptops to the MCB during Aradanas to the city, March 7–8. (CRG/PIA-10/Lanao del Sur)
