THE children’s group at House of Joshua in Sitio Agong, Barangay Canitoan, were filled with happiness and excitement when they were visited recently by the staff from the office of 1st District Congressman Lordan Suan.
Despite the congressman’s busy schedule, he did not forget to bring joy to the children, especially as part of his gratitude and celebration of his birthday. For this reason, he sent Assistant District Director Bert Amplayo to represent him during the occasion.
The administrators of House of Joshua, together with the parents and guardians of the children, also expressed their deep gratitude and happiness for the special event that was organized for the children’s enjoyment—an initiative that Suan has consistently supported and backed.
It is known that House of Joshua is under the management of Lifenet Children’s Foundation Inc., a registered and licensed non-profit social welfare agency based in Cagayan de Oro City. It was established as a response to the needs of street children and disadvantaged communities.
