MISAMIS ORIENTAL – Provincial Board Member Gerardo “Boboy” Sabal III and the provincial board members of this province are set to invite the airport manager of the Laguindingan International Airport to explain on “overnight parking” issue at said airport.
This came after Board Member Sabal reportedly received complaints from friends that many vehicles are staying overnight at the airport which already gave problems on airport passengers.
Sabal said it has become a long-standing issue which has not been tackled by the Provincial Board, so that once and for all they will put an end to this eyesore in the airport.
“It has reached to my attention that more and more vehicles are being parked at the airport. That’s why we will be inviting the airport manager to shed light on this issue,” Sabal pointed out.
He said it’s high time to evaluate this reported “overnight parking.” Many legit airport users have been complaining that they cannot park their vehicles because of these unattended parked vehicles.
“Nadawat na nato kining mga problema nga dili maka park ang ubang pasahero sa ilang sakyanan kay lagi halos napuno naman daan sa naka parked nga vehicles. Ug daghan usab mga PWDs ug senior citizens nga apektado usab niini,” the provincial board member concluded.
