CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Three armed suspects robbed a gadget store in what is called a “broad daylight robbery,” perpetrated by still unidentified suspects, on December 4, 2022 along Corrales-Hayes Streets, this city.
The police identified the gadget store as “Steezy Gadget Hub,” displaying several gadgets but mostly mobile phones and accessories.
Initial investigation disclosed that the suspected robbers carted away an estimated total of P3.7 million.
The following items were stolen according to police investigators:
- iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro
- iPhone 14, iPhone 13
- MacBook Air, MacBook Pro M2
- iPad Pro M2, iPad Mini, iPad 10th Gen, iPad 9th Gen
- Z Fold 4, Z Fold 3, Z flip 3, Z Flip 4
- S22, S22 Ultra, S22 Plus
Video footage taken from the store’s CCTV camera showed the store only had several customers when two robbers wearing helmets suddenly entered the store and declared a hold up.
The staff of the store was told to get inside the store’s front desk while one of them also started harvesting the gadgets and mobile phones displayed at the designated display areas.
Investigators are now tracking the whereabouts of the suspects and studying the CCTV camera footage.
The police are also asking help from the people of this city to call and contact their offices if they can identify the clothing used by the suspects.
