Roadhouse Café Reopens with a Solihiya-Inspired Transformation at SM City CDO Uptown

By James Murillo Elaco

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Roadhouse Café at SM City CDO Uptown has reopened with a new style that combines traditional beauty with modern comfort. The café, which   takes inspiration from the lush surroundings of Bukidnon, now has a Solihiya-inspired décor that makes guests feel light, comfortable, and relaxing vibe to diners.

The café, which is an outlet of a well-loved restaurant chain first started in Bukidnon, has been associated with appetizing comfort food and a great family ambience entertaining the hearts of its patrons. Conceived by a family who has great love for food and service, Roadhouse Café has proliferated to almost every corner of Mindanao with branches in Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Valencia among other cities.

Whereas before the modern revamp on the café offered warm and rustic touches, it now has modern day coziness by using contemporary and Solihiya styled furniture. This change in concepts is also reflective of the green sceneries of Bukidnon which integrate peace and order in their dining area.

When it comes to delectable meals, Roadhouse Café is still highly preferred among groups who wish to spend quality hours together over sumptuous dishes. This includes comfort food which is the Pochero, Kare-kare, Humba styled braised pork belly, Sisigang na baka sa Pakwan, Crispy pata among others. Every plate is guaranteed to be filled up and every taste bud satisfied and wowed.

At their Davao Branch Located at Ascendido Building, the café also has a function room for private functions and meetings that can seat up to 35 guests. For larger gatherings, about 100 guests are accepted on exclusive hire of the whole venue.

With its new look and the same comforting dishes, Roadhouse Café’s reopening is set to bring even more food enthusiasts together for a delightful dining experience. (JME/OB)
