MISAMIS ORIENTAL – Provincial administrator John Venice Ladaga yesterday revealed that the 223 visitors from the United States will visit tourist destinations in Northern Mindanao.
Ladaga said this is an offshoot of the recent visit of the tourism and investment promotion office of the province, wherein they also brought and showcased Kuyamis Festival in New York.
“Offshoot ni siya adtong pag adto sa atong delegation sa tourism and investment promotion office didto sa New York. Mao na nga nikuyog kanila ang consul general sa New York City,” he said.
Ladaga announced the objective of their exploration was business and tourism potential of Northern Mindanao, especially in Misamis Oriental.
It was also learned that aside from Misamis Oriental, the 223 US visitors, composed of Filipinos and foreigners are going to Visit, Iligan City, Gingoog City, and Bukidnon Province.

Misamis Oriental Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” M. Unabia thanked all the delegates from Chicago, Florida, New York, Guam and Hawaii, for their interest in investing in Northern Mindanao.
“Maayong gabii nga puno sa paglaum kanatong tanan. Maayong pag abot dinhi sa syudad sa Cagayan de Oro ug sa probinsya sa Misamis Oriental,” the governor said in his message.
Governor Unabia deeply appreciated the eagerness of Filipinos abroad and their American friends and spouses to invest in Northern Mindanao in terms of business and tourism.
