Manny Pacquiao, at 46 did not win the fight, but he will become more richer by $18 million or ₱1.2 billion after a 12-round of intense battle with Barrios that ended to a majority draw.
Currently, Pacquiao has a net worth or total wealth amounting to ₱12 billion.
Throughout his entire boxing career, it has been recorded that the Filipono pride had earned almost ₱32.7 billion in history.
Pacman had recently been entered in the Hall of Fame of International Boxing.
From nothing to something, Manny Pacquio, adored by millions of boxing fans all over the world is boxing’s only eight-division world champion.
Before his fight with Barrios, Pacquiao was inducted in the Hall of Fame with the Class of 2025 in Canasota, New York.
The Filipino superstar was joined alongside Michael “Second To” Nunn, Vinny Paz, Mary Jo Saunders, Yessica Chavez and Anne Sophie Mathis.
“I came from nothing into something, Pacquiao said, that was the beginning of my life and career, but I didn’t give up. I worked hard, I sacrificed and believed in God and prayed to God and did a lot of things to become what I have done.”
Pacquiao’s career, which began in 1995, has been filled with storied rivalries and a legendary run where he won 15 straight fights across four weight classes from 2006-12, including nine over fellow Hall of Famers to cement him as one of boxing’s best pound-for-pound fighters alongside Floyd Mayweather Jr. in their era.
Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs) notched 12 wins over current Hall of Famers, including two victories against Juan Manuel Marquez, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales and Timothy Bradley.
The southpaw also defeated Hall of Famers Miguel Cotto, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Shane Mosley.
His whirlwind style, blazing speed and punishing left hand introduced so many to the sport of boxing as he headlined in Las Vegas over and over again, often in events that generated 1 million-plus PPV buys. Pacquiao is among the highest earners ever in boxing. His last fight was a loss to Yordenis Ugas in August 2021. (Ugas replaced Errol Spence Jr. on short notice.)
“Boxing gave me a way out, it turned my struggles into strength, my failures into visions, and my pain into purpose,” said the Pacman.
“Every fight and every victory was a step forward from poverty. It was not just for me, but for my family, for the Filipino people, and all the fans, and for the glory of our God,” he said.
Manny Pacquio also expressed his gratitude to his family, to his wife Jinkee and kids, for the love and support through every high and every low.
To the fans, coaches, media, and every person who cheered, prayed, or stood by me all these years, this is your victory too.
And to the next generation of fighters: never let your situation limit your destiny. With God nothing is impossible.
This is Manny Pacquio, the only eight -division champion who was born in Kibawe, Bukidnon with nothing but grit and determination to graduate from extreme poverty to become the only Filipino legend in boxing history.
