The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has assured the public that there is no credible information supporting online rumors of a looming emergency situation in Metro Manila. This clarification aims to alleviate concerns and prevent unnecessary panic among residents.

The NCRPO has jurisdiction over Metro Manila, also known as the National Capital Region, and is headquartered in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig. With its five police districts, the NCRPO is responsible for maintaining law and order in the region.

In a bid to reassure the public, the NCRPO emphasized that it is always prepared to respond to any situation that may arise. However, without credible evidence, there is no reason to believe that an emergency situation is imminent.
Residents are advised to rely on official sources of information and to be cautious of unsubstantiated rumors circulating online.
