MISAMIS ORIENTAL – Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” M. Unabia of this province has activated Misamis Oriental -Provincial Macro Finance Unit – Livelihood For Economic Recovery and Acceleration Program (PMU-LEAP).
The PMU LEAP is a flagship program of Governor Unabia, which activates the letter “L” of PAGLAUM Strategic Agenda that stands for Livelihood and Employment through Industry Development.
The program aims to assist MSMEs situated in Misamis Oriental in terms of accessing additional capital for the growth and expansion of their businesses with no interest and with a maximum of 6 years of repayment.
This program focuses more on agri-business, food services and logistics, it was learned.
From the start of its implementation, the PGMO already released 40,389162.26 to 52 MSMEs and is still counting.
Last August 5, 2024 another beneficiaries were approved of a total loan of P1,099,000.00 PMU LEAP Loan Assistance to:

These businesses include Banana Trading, Bakeshop, Fashion Dress Shop, Printing Services, Charcoal Carbon Trading, Fruits and Vegetables Peddling and Tobacco Farming with area of operation in Alubijid and lnitao, Misamis Oriental.
