Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Philippines turned over its fourth Bahay Bulilit Learning Center in Barangay Tibungco Davao City. The project is a major advocacy for education of McDonald’s Philippines owner and founder George T. Yang. Mr. Yang has always valued education. He believes that it is something that not only benefits the learner, but their family, community, and the country as well. McDonald’s Philippines executives led the turnover ceremonies, including Margot Torres, Managing Director, Adi Timbol-Hernandez, Corporate Relations Director, Austin Torres, Public Affairs Manager and Marie Asistio-Angeles, Executive Director, RMHC.
Hon.Merjade D. Calvo, Barangay Captain, Tibungco, Davao City welcomes the Ronald McDonald Bahay Bulilit turnover ceremony a today March 30, 2022 @ 10 a.m. This was attended by LGU, Davao Mayor Representativve, Hon. C.Baluran, RSW, Dept. Head City Social Welfare and Development Office, Mc Donald’s Managing Director, Margot B. Torres, McDonald’s Philippines Managing Director, Chief Happiness Officer, Ronald McDonald, Bahay Bulilit Teachers and students, media and local folks.
As the facility of Bahay Bulilit was explained by Austin Torres and Margot Torres in its goals snd vision , Tibungko community and those who attended the ceremony find a collaborative effort between LGU, Department of Education and McDonald’s a success all throughout the Philippines. Dr . George T. Yang and Kenneth Yang, Golden Arches Corp. have been honored in the virtual presentation today. This program started in 1981 in Makati, Manila. Davao City has 4 the most Bahay Bulilit in the Philippines.
A hearty McDonald’s breakfast and lunch were served while Ronald McDonald goes around Davao City giving freebies, stories and photo shoots filled with laughters! Children and adults enjoy the event without end as Ronald McDonald showers magic of charities all over the Philippines and the world.
