First Lady Liza Marcos Thanks Filipino-Chinese Community for Contributions to Trade and Culture

Manila, Philippines – First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos expressed her deep gratitude to the Filipino-Chinese community for their invaluable contributions to the country’s economy and cultural heritage. Araneta-Marcos attended the Chinese Embassy’s Chinese New Year reception in Manila, where she extended warm greetings to the community, saying “Gong Xi Fa Cai!” on her social media accounts. She also shared photos from the celebration, highlighting the strong cultural ties between the Philippines and China.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. also acknowledged the importance of Filipino-Chinese relations, emphasizing the community’s significant role in national progress. He praised their contributions to economic growth and cultural development, reaffirming the government’s commitment to strengthening ties with China and the Filipino-Chinese community.
