In the past years, more than 74 cases of rabies were recorded at the Regional Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (RADDL) in Northern Mindanao, where Dr. emphasized. The responsible ownership of those who are raised is an important part of the DA’s strategy against this disease.

Rabies is one of the eleven deadly diseases in animals that cause the death of nearly 250 Filipinos every year. While it is fatal, it is preventable through vaccination.
