Cebuana Lhuillier Hosts Annual “Brillo Awards” to Honor Close to a Thousand

Employees for Their Loyalty, Excellence, and Honesty

Cebuana Lhuillier held its annual employee recognition awards ceremony, “Brillo Awards” in
Marriott Hotel Manila, putting the spotlight on its employees’ loyalty, dedication, excellence, and
honesty.
Companies that prioritize recognizing and honoring the people within their organization often
stand out as great employers, and Cebuana Lhuillier, the country’s leading microfinance
institution with 3,500 branches nationwide, is known to consistently value its employees,
celebrate them for their personal milestones and show appreciation for their contributions to the
company’s growth.
Cebuana Lhuillier’s annual “Brillo Awards” is a testament to the company’s commitment to
ensuring that employees will feel valued, appreciated, and seen for what they do. To honor them
properly, the company has made sure to host this event annually as part of its company
tradition, and to give outstanding employees something to look forward to each year.
This year’s celebration was a night that celebrated and awarded close to a thousand Cebuana
Lhuillier top performers and target achievers’ hard work, dedication, commitment and loyalty.
The highlight of the evening was the recognition of the company’s loyalty awardees, with

accolades given to employees who have served Cebuana Lhuillier for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35
years. There were almost 800 loyalty awardees that night, 29 of them being 30 and 35 year
awardees combined.
Among those recognized were five of the company’ longest-serving employees Pamela Cruz,
Herbert Jaluag, Leo Manso, Maria Judith Neri, and Helma Villacampa who are living testaments
of how the company values its employees, being in service for 35 years.
Upon sharing a special moment on stage, the 30-year and 35-year loyalty awardees have
shared how thankful they are to the Lhuillier family and the entire Cebuana Lhuillier organization
for the support and “malasakit” to them and all their employees.
“Nakakaproud siya, yung makita mong inalaan at pinapahalagahan ng Cebuana Lhuillier yung
mga empleyado. Nakakatouch na makatanggap ng proof na may halaga ang loyalty mo”, says
Maria Judith Neri, one of the 35th year loyalty awardees.
Asked about the secret to staying in the company for 35 years, Herbert Jaluag, another 35th
In a special moment that underscored the company’s deep-rooted values of commitment and
perseverance, CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier was also honored for his 30 years of service. His
leadership and vision have been instrumental in driving Cebuana Lhuillier to its current status as
a leader in the financial services industry.
“At Cebuana Lhuillier, we believe that creating a supportive and rewarding environment is key to
fostering long-term loyalty. It’s incredibly heartening to see so many of our employees choosing
to stay with us for 30, even 35 years. Their commitment speaks volumes about the culture we’ve
built together—one that values and nurtures each individual’s growth and well-being,” says
Jo-Ann Tacorda, Cebuana Lhuillier First Vice President and Group Head for Corporate Group.
Aside from the loyalty awardees, Cebuana Lhuillier’s “Brillo Awards” also recognizes several
other prestigious achievements. Among these include the Business Unit Awards which
celebrated the outstanding achievement of the business units, Money Mover of the Year which
honors those who have contributed to the company’s financial growth, Excellence Awards for
those who have gone above and beyond their roles, Honesty Awards for those who have
exhibited unparalleled ethical conducts, and Group Awards to honor teams who exemplified
impressive collaboration leading to successful projects and results. Moreover, the
announcement of the Branch of the Year, Area of the Year, and the Region of the Year awards
also became the highlight of the evening as exciting cash prizes were announced for the
winners.

“Our employees are the backbone of Cebuana Lhuillier, and their loyalty and excellence have
been the driving forces behind our success. Tonight, we celebrate not just their years of service,
but the passion and commitment they bring to our company every day. Their dedication inspires
us all to continue striving for greatness together,” says Cebuana Lhuillier CEO and President
Jean Henri Lhuillier.
“Brillo Awards” showcases the strong bond between Cebuana Lhuillier and its employees. By
recognizing and rewarding the hard work and loyalty of its employees who are the driving force
behind its success, Cebuana Lhuillier continues to prove that the company is not only a reliable
