Members of the Pantingan Farmers Plant Nursery Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (PFPNARC) in the province of Bataan, will soon advance to promoting their products on various online platforms for them to become more competitive, reach a wider audience and strengthen their market presence.

This was a result of the just concluded seminar conducted by the Provincial Information Office (PIO) of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the Negosyo Center Pilar, Bataan on Virtual Marketing and Promotion Skills cum Website Creation which the PFPNARC members attended to capacitate its members on the basics of digital marketing

Engr. Emmanuel Aguinaldo, DAR-Bataan Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II, said the activity is part of DTI CARP (Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program) Bataan’s digitalization program to help increase the social media presence and online sales of the products of the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs).

“The activity aims to teach farmers the effective techniques and inform them of the advantages of online selling so they can expand their market reach,” Aguinaldo said.

Aguinaldo disclosed that the resource speakers assisted the ARBs in adapting to the digital marketing trend brought about by the latest technology.

“Digital marketing is a growing trend and many of us prefer to shop online to save time and effort. We see the importance of having the members of the ARB organizations embrace the digital world through this seminar. We find its relevance especially when it comes to widening the market reach for their products,” Aguinaldo emphasized.
