BUTUAN CITY – Over 400 families, advocates, and allies gathered at SM City Butuan on April 26, 2026 for the Angels Walk for Autism 2026, a unified show of support for persons on the autism spectrum and the communities that stand with them.
More than a gathering, the event created a shared space for connection, bringing together families and partners who continue to champion awareness, acceptance, and meaningful inclusion.
The event underscored SM’s vision of becoming a Mall for All, which goes beyond accessibility. It focuses on creating spaces where individuals on the spectrum are accepted, accommodated, and appreciated. This commitment continues to shape how SM designs experiences that are inclusive and responsive to the needs of every community.
Guided by this year’s theme, “AUmbitious. Umarangkada. Umangat,” the event highlighted the community’s shared progress toward genuine inclusivity— built through action and collective effort. It also reflected a collective commitment to keep moving forward, step by step, together.
