Agricultural Advancement: Clarin, Misamis Occidental Mayor Jojo D. Roa, Jr. Collaborates with PhilMech to Support Farmers’ Cooperative in the Municipality  

In a significant move towards enhancing agricultural productivity and supporting local farmers, the Milupfiaco (Mialen Lupagan Pan-Ay Farmers Irrigators Agriculture Cooperative) received a generous donation of a Kubota Walk-Behind Rice Transplanter and an array of essential tools. The partnership between the local government unit (LGU) of Clarin and the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) has yielded positive outcomes for the MILUPFIACO farmers’ community.

The notable contribution was made possible through the collaboration of Mayor Jojo D. Roa, Jr. and the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) underscoring their commitment to promoting sustainable farming practices and ensuring the welfare of rural communities. The donated equipment includes a Kubota Mechanical Rice Transplanter, which holds promise for streamlining the labor-intensive process of rice cultivation. The addition of a Fortune Heavy Duty Trailer provides practical support for transporting agricultural supplies, while a Kubota Mechanical Seeder Model adds another layer of efficiency to the planting process.
