CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — The Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) Northern Mindanao Region 19 (NMR 19) held its first Regional Executive Committee (REXECOM) meeting for 2026 on Saturday, January 10, 2026, approving a slate of humanitarian and community initiatives.
The meeting, presided by Kuya Gov. Alene Cabaron Valencia, was held at Grillfry Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City. Organizers called it a productive start to NMR 19’s commitment to service, leadership, and brotherhood.

Key Initiatives Approved
The REXECOM approved and set for implementation the following projects:
– *Relief assistance*: Aid for 48 families affected by the Lapasan fire incident
– *Youth and education support*: Sponsorship of the Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School Fun Run
– *Organization building*: Chartering and induction of the Cugman Vines Eagles Club
– *Community development*: Turnover of a library and tree planting activity in Migtugsok, Upper Cugman
– *Health advocacy*: Annual Blood Donation Campaign in Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City



Leadership Rooted in Service
The meeting concluded at 5:00 PM with closing remarks by Ate VP Dr. Bernalyn B. Waggoner. She reminded members that “the outpouring of God’s blessings is entrusted to those with good relationships, right attitudes, responsibility, and a God-fearing heart.”
“Truly, our constant desire to help the less fortunate is a reflection of God’s happiness working through us. Be blessed to be a blessing to others,” she said.
NMR 19 closed the session with its rallying call: “Together We Can! Mabuhay ang NMR 19!”
