CAMP COL RAFAEL C Rodriguez, Butuan City —– In acknowledgment of their commendable actions in the performance of their duties, 18 personnel from the Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 were honored during the flag-raising ceremony on January 29.
During the ceremony, PBGen Kirby John B Kraft, PRO13 Director, represented by PCol Eleazar P Matta, the Deputy Regional Director for Administration, presented the Medalya ng Kagalingan to 12 personnel from Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Office (PPO), led by PLtCol Felix P GpnzalesS, Jr. This recognition was granted for their successful operation in Brgy. Diatagon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur, resulting in the apprehension of Johnly S. Vocales, identified as the second most wanted person in the province for murder.
The same honor was extended to five members of Agusan del Sur PPO, under the leadership of PMaj Carmel D Malubay. They were recognized for apprehending Caraga’s tenth most wanted person, Quirubine P. Alalan, in Purok 5, Brgy. Poblacion, Trento, Agusan del Sur.
In a separate commendation, Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) Flordemae A Etchon received the Medalya ng Papuri for demonstrating efficiency, loyalty, and dedication during her nine-year tenure as Crime Registrar at Barobo Municipal Police Station (MPS).
“I commend the dedication of our personnel to their sworn duties, which has significantly contributed to maintaining peace and order in the Caraga region. May these recognitions inspire other police officers to strive for excellence in the delivery of services,” emphasized RD Kraft.
