TUBOD, Lanao del Norte -Eleven (11) municipal mayors of this province receives their Land ambulances from the DOH after have been turned over to 11 municipalities in Lanao del Norte under their Health Facilities Enhance Program (HFEP) After the signing of the Deed of Donation held in a simple ceremony and turnover ceremony lead by Governor Imelda “Angging” Dela Cruz Quibranza with Dr. Jovette guinal, Development Management Officer V of the Provincial Health Office (PHO) with the presence of respective 11 municipal mayors and their municipal health officers, namely: Linamon, Bacolod, Tubod Baroy, Lala, Munai, Nunungan, Pantar, Salvador, Sapad and Tangcal . Top officials said.
Dr.Guinal said “the 11 land ambulances are only the first batch of the HFEP.Next year, we are aiming to give 11 more ambulances to cater to those other municipalities that are yet to benefit from the program” Governor Angging Quibranza also expressed here appreciation to the DOH for the constant support of the province. Not only did they give land ambulances, but they also turned over Php 10M worth of check in support of the implementation of the Universal Health Care.
“We are very blessed to have our Congressmen and the support of Senator Migz Zubiri and Senator Sonny Angara who fought for us in congress to acquire these ambulances. I am also grateful to RD Llacuna of DOH-10 for delivering these units to our province,” Governor Angging said.
