Woodridge Garden Village Launches Second Phase in Lunzuran, Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – In its continuing expansion, Woodridge Garden Village officially launched this morning November 09, 2025, the second phase of its first-class residential subdivision in Barangay Lunzuran, this city.

Buds Wenceslao, CEO of D.M. Wenceslao and Associates Inc. explained the development follows the complete sellout of the first phase, which featured around 70 luxury homes.

The launching of the second phase with the theme “ Expanding a Thriving Legacy” will offer approximately 100 new residential slots for prospective homeowners with amenities like a main rotunda, clubhouse, resort-style pool, basketball court, park, outdoor gym and children’s skate park, pickleball court, children’s playground and picnic area, flower garden, viewing deck, pond and jogging trail similar to the amenities of the first phase.

Wenceslao emphasized that the 23-hectare property was originally purchased by his grandfather in 2006, and by the following year, a contract was signed with Landco Pacific as the official land developer for the entire project area.

“Anybody who wants to live in an elevated community are welcome. There are lots of amenities like basketball court, swimming pools, children skate park and others. We are the landowner partner and Landco is the master developer of the entire area. Landco is known for its premium decent communities that is why we decided to partner with them in this project. My grandfather invested in these properties along time ago and so we are happy to see the properties and will be executed to beautiful communities for the Zamboangueños,” Wenceslao emphasized.

The Woodridge Garden Village official said in order to resolve inundation and flooding during heavy downpour, the developer created a 2,500 square meters detention pond to absorb the volumes of rain water.

Zamboanga City, Mayor Khymer Olaso expressed elation on the launching of the second phase of Woodridge Garden Village which only shows the developer sees the potentials of Zamboanga City.

Olaso said the city’s very good peace and order is one of it’s important attraction.

“If we do not have a very good security they will not come and invest,” Olaso said.
