THE quick response team of Cagayan de Oro City 1st district Rep. Lordan Suan made a special trip to the hinterland barangay of Tignapoloan to provide assistance to the victims of a fire that occurred yesterday, September 16, particularly in Sitio Man-I, at around 3:00 in the afternoon.
Led by Assistant District Director Bert Amplayo, Suan’s office distributed relief goods containing basic necessities to the fire victims. Five families from the Cabaring household were affected, involving at least 23 individuals.
Amplayo further said that Suan will also assist the affected families in processing their financial assistance from the national government.
The victims, for their part, expressed their great happiness and gratitude for the initiative of Suan’s QRT. Despite the distance of their location, the team went all the way to them simply to provide assistance and service—a gesture they said is a great help in their current situation.
