In the most recent Pulse Asia survey conducted from February 20-25, 2025, Vice President Sara Duterte emerged as the frontrunner for the 2028 Presidential Elections, securing strong support across various regions in the Philippines.
Duterte received overwhelming backing in Mindanao with 90% support, while she also led in the Visayas with 43%. In the National Capital Region (NCR), she garnered 21%, and in Balance Luzon, she obtained 15% support. Overall, Duterte remains the top preference among voters nationwide.
Senator Raffy Tulfo ranked second in the survey, obtaining 28% support from respondents. Meanwhile, Senator Grace Poe secured third place with 14%, followed by Senator Risa Hontiveros with 5%. House Speaker Martin Romualdez trailed with 1% support.
The Pulse Asia survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with registered voters from different parts of the country. The results highlight early voter preferences and potential contenders for the 2028 presidential race, with Duterte maintaining a significant lead.
