The Rotary Club of Golden Friendship, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Uptown Cagayan de Oro, recently conducted an outreach activity at the Calabrian Foster Home for Boys and Girls in Cagayan de Oro City last March 7, 2026.
Carrying the theme “Visit with a Heart”, the initiative aimed to support the well-being of the children through the distribution of essential supplies, including sacks of rice, as well as the provision of meals for the day.
The activity brought together Rotarians committed to service, fellowship, and making a meaningful impact in the community. Beyond the donations, the visit was an opportunity to share moments of joy, connection, and compassion with the children.
Aligned with Rotary’s Area of Focus on Maternal and Child Health, the outreach highlights the clubs’ shared commitment to nurturing and supporting vulnerable children, ensuring they are cared for in a safe and compassionate environment.
The Rotary Clubs remain steadfast in their dedication to creating positive and lasting change in the lives of individuals and communities they serve, truly embodying the spirit of “Service Above Self.”
Through “Visit with a Heart,” the Rotary Clubs continue to bring hope, care, and compassion to the lives of the children they serve.
