Rotarians visit Medina town and distribute wheelchairs to PWDs

The Rotary Club of Metro Medina Bay in partnership with the Rotary Club of Gingoog Bay and the local government of the town distributed wheelchairs to persons with disabilities (PWDs).

Dubbed as “Gabay Lakad 2023,” a total of 30 wheelchairs were successfully distributed by the civic group and the local government.

The wheelchairs, according to the group, did not only give PWDs their means of mobilization but it also give them the courage to move independently but in order to go on with their live with pride, dignity and convenience.

Augie Baylloy and his wife Audry Baylloy, the project benefactor couple, and chair of the Love Foundation, was also present during the formal distribution of wheelchairs to the beneficiries.

The Bayllot couple travelled from the United to the Philippines to pursue their dreams of helping the less privileged members of society through the Love Foundation.

Also present during the distribution was Rotary District 3870 Assistant Governor Joan Bahian, RC-GINGOOG BAY headed by their Hope Creating President @Natz Bullecer, the Hon. Mayor Donato N. Chan who is also the RCMMB charter president, Marriane L. Chan the Municipal Tourism Council Chairwoman, Municipal Councilors, Department heads and our beneficiaries.

The ROTARY CLUB OF METRO MEDINA BAY, under the active leadership of the Hope Creating president BENJAMIN UNALAN and its members, is very thankful to the benefactors and for the support from the mother club, the LGU and to all who is, in one way or another, help makes the said project create an impact to the less fortunate people in the community.
