Tahanan Party-list Rep. Nathaniel “Natz” Oducado expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for supporting and accelerating the deliberation process of the Anti-Dynasty Bill filed in the House of Representatives.

According to Rep. Oducado, the President’s move demonstrates the administration’s clear intention to strengthen the democratic process and ensure that political power does not remain concentrated in the hands of a few families.

“The President’s clear support is significant. It is an indication that the government is serious about pushing for reforms that will lead to a more inclusive political system. The Anti-Dynasty Bill is for the nation, not for any individual,” Oducado said.

He also noted, however, that in some provinces —particularly in parts of Mindanao —bcertain political dynasties have contributed to stability and development. For this reason, Oducado emphasized the importance of crafting a balanced version of the Anti-Dynasty Bill.

Meanwhile, Rep. Oducado is also one of the principal authors of the CADENA Act Bill. His House Bill No. 6721 seeks to mandate full disclosure of government transactions through the establishment of a digital budget portal to promote transparency, accountability, and greater public participation in the Philippine budget process.

“It is time to enact measures that will significantly contribute to economic order and benefit the entire nation,” Oducado concluded.
