Cagayan de Oro City – The Northern Mindanao Regional Agri-Fair 2026 officially opened today, September 18, at the SM City CDO Uptown main mall atrium, drawing local agricultural cooperatives, agri-preneurs, and consumers from across Region 10.
The three-day exhibition, spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-10) through regional director Jose Apollo Pacamalan, showcases the region’s latest agricultural advancements, premium farm-to-shelf products, and sustainable fisheries innovations. The event runs until Sunday, September 20, 2026.
Highlighting Local Produce and Agribusiness
The fair serves as a vital market-matching platform for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and farming cooperatives. Dozens of booths have been set up to display the diverse agricultural bounty of Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, and Camiguin.
Among the prominent exhibitors is Alomah’s Place and Nature Farm
, offering high-value highland produce including fresh lettuce, bok choy, kale, and potted herbs. Meanwhile, agrarian reform communities like the Mindulao Farmers are showcasing value-added innovations such as organic coconut sugar and alternative coconut amino sauces, targeting health-conscious retail buyers.
A Simultaneous Sub-National Focus
The launch coincides with a broader surge in sub-national agricultural trade events across the Philippines. This week also marked the staging of the 28th Davao Agri Trade Expo (DATE) in Davao City, signaling robust post-pandemic growth and cross-regional collaborations within Mindanao’s macro-agricultural sector.
DA-10 officials emphasized that events like the Regional Agri-Fair are critical to reinforcing the farm-to-table supply chain. By eliminating intermediaries, the fair helps local growers secure better profit margins while offering urban consumers access to fresh, safe, and affordable food commodities.

The trade fair is open to the public during regular mall hours. Visitors can explore fresh produce markets, technology pavilions, and business-to-business networking sessions located on the ground floor of SM City CDO Uptown.
