MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA) — In line with the activation of the Task Force Marawi, 500th Combat Engineer Commanding Officer LtCol. Jerome Redosendo was designated as the acting commander of the task force.
In his acceptance message, Redosendo said it is a privilege and honor to be chosen as the chief of the new security group in this city. He vowed to serve with honor, integrity, and dedication.
He also reminded the members of the Task Force of their responsibility to maintain the peace and stability of the city as well as to ensure the security and safety of its people.
Although they might face challenging situations, Redosendo said they must remember that they are here to serve and must always act with honor, respect, and professionalism.
The task force commander likewise highlighted the importance of communication and cooperation between the uniformed personnel and the civilians.
“We must be proactive in pursuing chances to share our skills and resources and learn from one another. I look forward to working with you and accomplish our mission,” he said. (JND/PIA-10 Lanao del Sur)
