-DSHUD, veteran brokers stress integrity and professionalism as foundations of success

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY— A gathering of real estate professionals led by Jessie Ubay-ubay, Registered Real Estate Broker, drew inspiration and practical lessons for new and practicing brokers through decades of industry experience shared by respected leaders in Cagayan de Oro.
The event brought together veteran brokers Gigi Roa Alon, G. JL, and Charito Yamar, who shared real-life stories of success, challenges, and lessons from the field.
Participants said the discussions reinforced that integrity, honesty in every transaction, patience, and resilience are the foundations of a successful real estate career. Speakers emphasized that success in the profession is achievable when brokers uphold professionalism and continuously strive for excellence.
DSHUD guidance for new brokers
DSHUD Regional Director Paris Raymond S. Gaballo also addressed the group, providing important insights on real estate laws and regulations that guide practice. His words of encouragement and motivation were especially meaningful to newly licensed Real Estate Brokers beginning their professional journey.
“Salamat kaau to everyone who contributed to making this event a success,” organizers said. “Together, let us continue to elevate the standards of the real estate profession and serve the public with competence, integrity, and excellence.”
The gathering was supported by COREB and attended by real estate professionals committed to upholding ethical practice and professional excellence in Northern Mindanao.
