CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) successfully implemented two separate search warrant operations in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, leading to the confiscation of an estimated PhP2.21 million worth of suspected shabu on February 21, 2025.
At around 1:00 AM, personnel of the Provincial Intelligence Unit – Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office (PIU-MORPPO), in coordination with the Tagoloan Municipal Police Station, RIU 10, and 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) Misamis Oriental, implemented Search Warrant No. 013125-787 against alias “Boboy” for violation of R.A. No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, at Zone 11, Siyayon, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.
The suspect was not present during the operation, but authorities were able to seize seven large heat-sealed plastic sachets containing crystalline granules believed to be shabu, weighing more or less 75 grams, with an estimated Standard Drug Price of PhP510,000.00, one coin purse, and one lighter.
Meanwhile, at around 2:00 AM, another search warrant operation was conducted by Tagoloan MPS, in coordination with PDEA-10 and personnel from the 1st PMFC Misamis Oriental. The team implemented Search Warrant No. 021025-791 against alias “Cardo”, at Zone 11, Siyayon, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. The suspect evaded arrest, but authorities seized 28 different sizes of rectangular heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing more or less 250 grams with a Standard Drug Price of PhP1,700,000.00, one big pouch bag, one aluminum foil, one blue lighter with a needle attached, and an improvised aluminum foil used as a tooter.
All seized items were turned over to Tagoloan MPS for proper documentation and disposition.
PBGEN JAYSEN C DE GUZMAN, Regional Director, PRO10, commended the operating teams for their dedication to the relentless fight against illegal drugs.
“PRO10 will continue to intensify its efforts in coordination with other law enforcement agencies to ensure that those involved in illegal drug activities are brought to justice. We urge the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with authorities in reporting suspicious activities in their communities,” he said.
PRO10 assures the public that operations against illegal drugs will persist as part of the PNP’s intensified anti-criminality campaign.
