MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang has hit back at Vice President Sara Duterte after she criticized the Marcos administration, saying the country is headed for the “dumpster” under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s leadership.
Palace press officer Claire Castro countered Duterte’s remarks, stressing that as an elected official, she has a duty to return to the Philippines and fulfill her responsibilities, regardless of personal opinions or family ties.
