Cotabato City – The Philippine Airlines will be flying daily on three scheduled routes starting October 1, 2023, according to a top executive of the country’s flag carrier.
Mr. Rabbi Vincent Ang, President of PAL Express said in a statement that the three routes include Cotabato to Manila, Cebu to Cotabato, and Cotabato to Tawi-Tawi.
“We welcome the reopening of Cotabato’s Awang Airport for full operations by larger aircraft. “We look forward to serving the people of Cotabato and our passengers traveling to and within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and our flights from Manila, Cebu, and Tawi-Tawi and congratulate the aviation authorities and the BARMM government through the efforts of the Ministry of Transportation and Communication (MOTC) headed by Atty Paisalin P. Tago, who is also a member of the BTA for the upgrading of infrastructure in the interests of safety and efficiency,” Ang added
The schedules of the flights include:
PR 2959/2960 (Daily) Manila – Cotabato – Manila
PR 2223/2224 (Monday & Thursday) Cebu – Cotabato – Cebu
PR 2487/2488 (Monday & Thursday) Cotabato – Tawi-Tawi – Cotabato
