With pride and honor, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office X led by director JCSupt. Felixberto Jagorin Jr. warmly welcomed its newly appointed Jail Officer 1 personnel as they formally took their oath of office—marking the beginning of their commitment to serve with integrity, discipline and dedication.
There were a total of 128 new trainees who form part of the regular quota and attrition quota for Northern Mindanao who will embark on a four-month training at the various jail facilities in the region manned by BJMP.

In particular, there are a total of 102 new male Jail Officers 1 and 26 female counterparts.
The attrition quota served as replacement for jail officers who have already retired, died, resigned or dismissed from service.
The oath-taking ceremony signifies not only their acceptance of the responsibilities of public service but also their pledge to uphold the BJMP’s mission of ensuring safe custody, humane treatment, and effective rehabilitation of PDLs.
As they embark on this noble profession, Jagorin exhorted that they remain steadfast in living the core values of Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makabayan, at Makakalikasan, while exemplifying professionalism and excellence in every aspect of their service.
