“THIS anniversary is not only a celebration of our achievements but also a renewed commitment to the future. Together, we will continue to break barriers, reach more communities, and deliver healthcare that knows no boundaries—because our service goes beyond borders, and our impact knows no limits.”
This was the message of Dr. Michael June Perez, Chief of Hospital of JR Borja General Hospital, during the opening ceremony of the hospital’s 63rd Founding Anniversary on Monday (August 3).
Carrying the theme, “Service Beyond Borders, Impact Without Limits,” the hospital commemorated its years of dedicated service to the community and reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality, efficient, and compassionate healthcare.
The opening ceremony was also attended and supported by City Councilor Paolo Gaane.

During the event, the hospital also unveiled its official calendar of activities, which will serve as a guide for the various programs and events to be held throughout the month as part of the anniversary celebration.
One of the highlights of the opening ceremony was the presentation and sashing of the candidates for Miss JRBGH 2026, showcasing the talent and representation of the hospital’s various departments.
This year’s 63rd anniversary celebration was spearheaded and organized by the JRBGH Ancillary Services under the leadership of Dr. Marahanni Karla Macatanong and Ms. Peanuts A. Uy, Head of the Anniversary Organizing Committee.
Through this celebration, JR Borja General Hospital continues to uphold its mission of providing accessible and high-quality healthcare services while fostering a culture of compassion, care, and collaboration for all the people it serves.
