Cagayan de Oro, Philippines – March 7, 2025 – e-Future Motors PH, Inc. and Mindanao Daily Express (Mindex) have officially sealed a joint venture to deploy 50 electric vehicles in support of the country’s Public Utility Transport Modernization Program (PUTMP).
The Joint Venture Contract Agreement was signed at the Xavier Estates Clubhouse in Uptown, Cagayan de Oro, marking a significant step toward sustainable and modernized public transportation. e-Future Motors PH CEO Bongkyun Shin and Mindex Chairman of the Board Dante Sudaria led the signing ceremony, joined by Mindex Board Secretary Ruffy Magbanua and e-Future China CEO Huizi Jiang.
The partnership aligns with the government’s push for eco-friendly and efficient transport solutions, aiming to replace traditional public utility vehicles with modern, environmentally friendly alternatives.
This collaboration is expected to enhance mobility in Mindanao while reducing carbon emissions and promoting green energy adoption in the country’s transportation sector.
