Governor Unabia inks MOA for coconut sauce processing and marketing

Misamis Oriental Governor Peter M. Unabia has recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for coconut sauce processing and marketing. The MOA would signal the processing of coconut sap into editable sauce that would be sold in the marketplace. The project proponent was the  Mindulao Farmers Agrarian Reform Community Cooperative. The project partners are the Provincial Government of the Misamis Oriental, LGU-Magsaysay, Department of Agriculture-Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP), and the key stakeholders the PGMO, PLGU-Magsaysay, Mindulao Farmers Agrarian Reform Community Cooperative, and the Department of Agriculture. 

Said project is expected to process and market a total volume of 323,100 liters of coconut sauce per year and boost economic activity and increase the income of the Mindulao Farmers Agrarian Reform Community Cooperative. Present during the signing are Mayor Charlie Buhisan of Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental, Mr. Patrick Ralph Pahalla, Municipal Agriculturist Ediver Buyan, Manager-MinF Romel Ratilla, Chairman, Mindulao Farmers Agrarian Reform community.
