CAMP SIONGCO, Awang, DOS, Maguindanao del Norte – North Cotabato Governor Emmylou ‘Lala’ Taliño-Mendoza extended her heartfelt gratitude to government agencies ensuring the province’s security.
“We are happy that our AFP, PNP, and other force multipliers are working hand in hand to maintain peace and order in our areas of responsibility,” stated Gov. Taliño-Mendoza.
The governor made this statement during the 4th Quarter Provincial Peace and Order Council Meeting held on the rooftop of the Provincial Capitol in Amas, Kidapawan City, today (December 6, 2023).
The meeting also discussed the preparations made by the AFP, PNP, and security forces regarding the celebration of Christmas and the welcoming of the New Year.
Attending the PPOC was Major General Alex S. Rillera, Commander of the 6th Infantry (Kampilan) Division and Joint Task Force Central, emphasizing the detailed security plans in the jurisdiction of 6ID/JTFC within Cotabato province.
Mayors from various towns who attended the gathering assured close coordination with the PNP and the military to ensure safer activities during this holiday season.
Eastern Mindanao Commander Lt. Gen. Greg T. Almerol and Western Mindanao Commander Lt. Gen. William N. Gonzales conveyed their message to Governor Mendoza for the peaceful and successful conduct of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections in the province. They also commended the efficient implementation of peace programs advocated by the military.
These military commanders expressed their gratitude to the provincial government for its unwavering support extended to the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
